Taking place in Chicago, Zenith Officer Institute is Phi Kappa Tau's largest officer training program intended for Chapter Presidents, Recruitment Chairmen, Membership Orientation Officers, and Treasurers. Chapters are expected to send all four of their newly elected or returning officers to the program. Participant substitutions can be made on case-by-case basis.
The deadline to register is December 6th, 2024. We encourage you to have your officer elections prior to Thanksgiving to ensure the new officers have ample time to plan their attendance.
The program will take place January 9-12th at the Hilton Rosemont Chicago O’Hare (5550 North River Road, Rosemont IL). The program will be eligible for up to 70% reimbursement from your Chapter Educational Grant Fund (dependent on available funds for your chapter).
Registration has no cost for participants. If you need assistance with travel to the program please contact your Chapter Services Consultant and we can connect you with the Phi Kappa Tau Foundation.
Participants will be expected to arrive by 5:00 pm CT on Thursday, January 9th and depart by 11:00am CT on Sunday January 12th. Participants flying in will be expected to fly into Chicago O'Hare Airport, those flying into Midway will be responsible to their own transportation to the conference hotel.

What should I expect from the program?
The program will be a combination of large group sessions, sessions within your officer track, and sessions with your chapter paired with chapters from similar campus cultures.

It is the expectation that you come ready to learn, and a drive to improve your chapter. We ask that you keep an open mind, and be respectful to fellow participants, staff, and of course our volunteers.
We request that you get the proper rest each night and refrain from leaving site during the program.
What should I pack?
The dress code for the weekend is business casual on Friday & Saturday. Business casual includes; dress pants (slacks/chinos) & collared shirt/sweater.
You cannot wear graphic tees or hats.
Be sure to pack Phi Kappa Tau gear as we are encouraging all brothers to wear letters on Thursday when you arrive.
Toiletries & prescription medications.
Laptop or tablet for your Chapter Strategic Plan.
Phone/other electronics chargers. Guest Wi-Fi will be available, however, there is little downtime during the program.
Location, Lodging, and Food
Zenith will take place at the Hilton Rosemont Chicago O’Hare (5550 North River Road, Rosemont IL) January 9-12, 2025.
We ask that you plan to travel in on the 9th and be ready to check in to your room by 5pm CT. You will not be able to check into your room prior to then.
Your room has been reserved and paid for by the Fraternity. Please note that you will need to put a card down for incidentals, but you will not be charged for the room. We recommend utilizing a credit card as opposed to a debit card as the deposit will return to your card sooner.
You will most likely be rooming with your chapter brother, unless traveling in odd numbers in which you may be paired with an undergraduate from another chapter. If there are issues with your rooming, please contact a Phi Kappa Tau staff member on site and we will be able to help.
Meals will be provided beginning Friday morning through Saturday evening. Meals on Thursday January 9th and breakfast on Sunday the 12th will be on your own, other than that you will not need to worry about providing your own food.
If you are no longer attending Zenith, you need to contact chapterservices@phikappatau.org ASAP to avoid being charged a no-show fee. Your food, hotel, and program supplies have already been paid for by the Fraternity for the weekend.
